Welcome! This association’s purpose is to preserve the historic character and attractiveness of the Village of Old Greenwich, Connecticut, and the abutting communities of Riverside, Cos Cob, and North Mianus. We also educate the community at large about the unique history of the Village of Old Greenwich, Riverside, Cos Cob, and North Mianus.

We will provide scholarships, when merited, to students from the community seeking higher education.

Dear Friends,

Our fledgling organization has had a busy and successful two years! In 2018, we were able to protect the iconic and historic entry into Old Greenwich by stopping the Sound Beach Avenue road raise and the proposed 100-foot diameter highway-style rotary in front of the iconic Perrot Library. This past September we succeeded in having the loop around Binney Park designated a Scenic Road. This designation serves to protect this area for future generations in that now any proposed changes must first be presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission at a public hearing. We now have a voice in the decision-making process when issues arise that affect OUR village.

Please join the Eastern Greenwich Preservation Association by visiting the Contact Us tab above or by donating to our cause at the Join Us tab.
